The Alcazaba of Málaga is one of the most emblematic Islamic heritage sites you will find here in Andalusia. It really is impossible to leave Málaga without visiting it!

It is known as ‘Little Alhambra’, and boasts a similar artistic and architectural style since they were both built during the Nasrid period.

This fortified palace, built on the slopes of the Gibralfaro mountain has elegant gardens, palaces and labyrinthine walls that will take your breath away.

During this tour, you will discover how the Christian army conquered the Alcazaba, an almost impossible task. The Alcazaba was deemed one of the most impregnable fortresses of the Middle Ages.

The Alcazaba guided tour lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. We suggest you to bring sunscreen and a hat if it’s a warm day. Also wear comfortable shoes, we recommend you to avoid wearing high heels.
