Join our guided tour of the Alcazaba — the perfect way to explore this breathtaking monument. Through this visit, you’ll uncover its fascinating history, hidden legends, and intriguing aspects of Islamic culture.
The Alcazaba of Málaga is one of the most iconic examples of Islamic heritage in Andalusia. It’s truly a must-see — no trip to Málaga is complete without it!
Often referred to as the “Little Alhambra,” it shares a similar architectural and artistic style, as both were built during the Nasrid period.
This hilltop fortress, nestled on the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro, features elegant gardens, palatial spaces, and maze-like walls that are sure to leave you in awe.
During the tour, you’ll learn how the Christian army managed to conquer the Alcazaba — a nearly impossible feat, as it was considered one of the most impregnable fortresses of the Middle Ages.
The guided tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you’re visiting on a warm day, we recommend bringing sunscreen and a hat. Comfortable shoes are a must — we advise against wearing high heels.
Book your tour today and enjoy discovering the rich history of Málaga!
